GIPS, YWCA sign 2026-27 satellite childcare MOU

Hall County School District 2 (Grand Island Public Schools) and the Young Women's Christian Association of Grand Island, Nebraska, Inc. entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for YWCA to operate satellite childcare services at the O'Connor Learning Center from August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027. GIPS will provide space, utilities, furnishings, custodial services, and nutrition services under contract, while YWCA will operate the program, collect parent payments, and maintain required liability insurance and regulatory compliance.
