School Board Grants Perpetual Electric Utility Easement

The School Board of Walton County is granting Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative, Inc. a perpetual right-of-way easement to convert existing overhead electric service to underground facilities on district-owned property. CHELCO will construct, operate, and maintain the underground distribution line and related equipment within a defined 10-foot-wide corridor while retaining ownership of all installed facilities.
