Artist group LADESCO, led by Lou Anne Baker, submitted the design "Aliens Are Out There" for Yucca Valley’s Summer Music Festival Art program under terms granting the Town perpetual use of the artwork for a $500 stipend if selected. The Commission will consider the submission as part of the Public Art Program’s Art in Daily Lives component for display in summers 2026 and 2027.
