Description
The County of Simcoe has engaged Lands and Forests Consulting (LFC) to carry out a controlled burn on about 5 hectares of the Nottawasaga Tract County Forest in Clearview Township. The one-day prescribed burn, scheduled as early as May 2026 when conditions allow, will remove hazardous debris from the 2025 ice storm and support long-term forest restoration.
