Springfield City Council considers First Amendment to Collective Bargaining Agreement with IAFF Local 152, effective July 1, 2025. Amendment includes a 22% across-the-board pay increase for most Fire Protection Schedule salary grades, with 23.5% for Fire Marshals. Amendment was ratified by the bargaining unit on February 14, 2025.
