Youngstown Academy of Excellence Awards Professional Services Contract to Alta Care Group (July 2026)

Youngstown City School District is entering into an MOU with Alta Care Group to provide school-based behavioral health and social-emotional services for K-2 students in the SOAR program from August 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027, at no direct cost to the district. Alta Care will staff and fund the services using Medicaid reimbursement and Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board funds.
