The Overland Park Community Development Committee received a staff recommendation to award the 2026 Bike/Hike Asphalt Construction & Overlay (MP-2869) contract to McConnell & Associates Corp. in an amount not to exceed $351,800.86. The project will resurface sections of Tomahawk Creek Trail, Valleybrooke Park, Amesbury Lake, and Rock Creek with new asphalt. Council action is anticipated later in May 2026.
