Miami County plans to enter an interagency agreement with the Kansas Department for Children and Families to obtain partial Title IV-E federal reimbursement for independent legal representation costs in child in need of care and related proceedings. The agreement will run from 2026 through June 30, 2029, with reimbursement subject to an annual fiscal-year cap.
