Town donates rare Civil War poster to CCHS

The Town of Westfield Town Board approved Resolution No.39 of 2026 to donate an original 1864 Civil War poster to the Chautauqua County Historical Society at the McClurg Mansion, in exchange for a full-size reproduction and commitments to conserve and publicly display the artifact. The Supervisor is authorized to sign a Donation Agreement formalizing these terms if requested.
