SAUSD, Irvine USD sign 2026-27 special education MOU

Santa Ana Unified School District entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Irvine Unified School District to provide special education programs and services for Irvine students in SAUSD-operated programs from July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Irvine USD will reimburse SAUSD based on average cost per pupil minus special education program income and cover additional paraeducator costs as required by student IEPs.
