Tustin USD MOU for Special Education Placements

Tustin Unified School District entered a Memorandum of Understanding with Santa Ana Unified School District effective July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 to place eligible special education students, including deaf and hard of hearing pupils, in SAUSD-operated programs. Tustin Unified will fund its students’ average per-pupil program costs, pay for special circumstances paraeducators, and manage transportation and IEP participation.
