The Seattle City Council is considering a modified grant of approval for Swedish Health Services to vacate the alley in Block 95 near its First Hill campus. Under the proposed conditions, Swedish will fund and construct an estimated $2.8 million package of public benefit improvements, including First Hill Mile streetscape upgrades, park contributions, public art, and new pedestrian signals, prior to final vacation.
