The Town of Newmarket approved participation in York Region’s Municipal Insurance Pool Program and authorized financial contributions via levies to a direct purchase agreement with Axxima Insurance Services, a division of 3303128 Canada Inc., and Axxima Inc. for insurance pool administration services over an initial two-year term. The Director of Financial Services/Town Treasurer and Deputy Treasurer were delegated authority to approve continuing contributions if the agreement term with Axxima is extended.
