ISBE, district pact for Visiting International Teacher program

The Illinois State Board of Education is entering into an intergovernmental agreement with a participating Illinois school district to govern its role in the Visiting International Teacher Exchange Visitor Program through June 30, 2030. The district will hire and support visiting international teachers while ISBE manages certification and federal program compliance, with an option to renew the agreement for up to five additional years.
