$1.2M Approved for Fairfield Transit Facility Expansion

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission approved a $1.2 million Regional Measure 3 capital fund allocation to Solano Transportation Authority for the City of Fairfield Transit Facility Expansion Project. The project will install nine transit bus chargers and upgrade facility electrical infrastructure, supporting compliance with the zero-emission fleet mandate by 2040. Construction is planned from March 2026 to September 2026, with overall completion in late 2026.

RM3 Funds Reallocated to I-80 Truck Scales Construction

The Metropolitan Transportation Commission amended the Regional Measure 3 funding for the Solano Transportation Authority's I-80 Westbound Truck Scales Project, rescinding $2.7 million from the design phase and allocating it to construction. The reallocation addresses cost increases and extends the construction completion to March 2030.
