RPC Planner Rowden is authorized to apply for the Department of Environmental Services (DES) Source Water Protection Grant to draft an aquifer protection ordinance for the town of East Kingston. The grant is for up to $25,000 with no match required, and the application is due on November 1st. If approved, the work can start in late May 2026, with a zoning amendment slated for the March 2027 ballot.
